Therapy for young adults feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck

You might look like you're coping on the outside, but inside you're exhausted from overthinking, people-pleasing, family expectations or trying to figure out who you are.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationships, identity or cultural pressures, therapy can give you a space that's completely yours.

Does this sound familiar?

You might be...

  • Constantly overthinking and finding it hard to switch your mind off.

  • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted, even when everything looks "fine" on the outside.

  • Struggling to balance family or cultural expectations with the life you want for yourself.

  • Feeling lost in your twenties, unsure of who you are or where you're heading.

  • Putting everyone else's needs before your own and finding it difficult to set boundaries.

  • Feeling like you're never quite "good enough", no matter how much you achieve.

  • Carrying the impact of grief, loss or past experiences that still affect you today.

  • Feeling misunderstood, different or overwhelmed as you navigate neurodiversity or your identity.

  • Wanting a space where you can finally be yourself without fear of judgement.

If you're nodding along to any of these, you're not alone.

Therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of what's been weighing on you, and move towards a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

How I can help

You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes all you know is that something doesn't feel quite right, or that you're carrying more than you can manage on your own.

I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, make sense of what's been happening, and talk openly without fear of judgement. Together, we'll explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences with curiosity and compassion, helping you understand yourself more deeply.

As we reflect on what's been going on, you may start to notice patterns in the way you think, feel and relate to others. There are often moments when something just clicks. You begin to see yourself or your experiences in a different way, and things that once felt confusing can start to make more sense. Those moments of clarity can become the beginning of meaningful change.

I won't tell you what to do or claim to have all the answers. Instead, I'll be alongside you, listening with care, asking thoughtful questions, and offering a space where you can feel genuinely heard and accepted. I believe that when we feel understood, it becomes easier to understand ourselves. From there, we can begin to make choices that feel more authentic and in keeping with who we are.

Together, we can explore:

  • Understanding anxiety rather than feeling overwhelmed by it

  • Building confidence and learning to trust yourself

  • Recognising patterns that may no longer be helping you

  • Creating healthier boundaries in your relationships

  • Working through difficult experiences at a pace that feels right for you

  • Navigating identity, culture and family expectations

  • Developing greater self compassion and emotional resilience

  • Feeling calmer, more connected, and more like yourself
